- Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of preschool/pre-kindergarten children.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to implement The Goddard School's play-based curriculum, F.L.EX.® (Fun Learning Experience), ensuring each child's unique learning style is met.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child's development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom that complies with health and safety standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Proven experience working with preschool/pre-kindergarten children in a licensed childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood educational best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
