Job Summary:
The Goddard School in Midlothian is looking for a flexible, dependable, and energetic Floater Teacher to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of various ages and is looking for part-time, consistent afternoon hours. Floater Teachers support our classrooms by giving scheduled teachers breaks, covering end-of-day shifts, and assisting with closing routines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Step into classrooms as needed to provide support to lead and assistant teachers
- Help supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities across various classrooms (infants through Pre-K)
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization during transitions and closings
- Build positive, nurturing relationships with children, staff, and families
- Follow school policies and licensing regulations
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Experience with or interest in working with young children preferred
- Willingness to be flexible and float to various age groups throughout the day
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
